Privacy Policy

Last updated October 10, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Quiet Five collects, why we collect it, who receives it and the choices you have. In short: there are no accounts, nothing you type into a tool leaves your device, and the ads that fund the site use cookies that you can control.

1. Who We Are

Quiet Five (quietfive.com) is owned and operated by Ayush Sondhi, an individual based in Punjab, India. In this policy, "Quiet Five", "we", "us" and "our" refer to him.

Under UK and EU data protection law, we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy, except where a provider acts as a controller in its own right, as Google does for advertising.

Contact: hello@quietfive.com

2. What We Collect

We collect as little as we can. Quiet Five has no accounts, sign-up forms, comments or uploads.

2.1 Text you type into tools

Text you type into the paper toss game, or into any other tool, stays in your browser. It is not stored, and it is not sent to us or to anyone else. It disappears when you close or reload the page.

2.2 Settings and progress saved on your device

A few tools use your browser's local storage so your things are still there on your next visit: your last sound mix, volume and timer, the colors you have added to each coloring page, and the list of pages the "I'm bored" button has already shown you. This information stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

2.3 Emails you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. We use them only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.

2.4 Technical data

When you visit, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the page that referred you and the time of the request. Our host, Cloudflare, processes this data to deliver pages and to protect the site from attacks and abuse.

2.5 Visit statistics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or local storage, and it does not build a profile of you. It records page views, referring sites, browser and device types and the country of each visit, which we see only as totals.

2.6 Advertising data

When ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners collect data through cookies and similar technologies. Section 4 explains how this works and how to control it.

3. How We Use Data and Our Legal Bases

Under UK and EU law, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Delivering and securing the site (technical data): our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure website.
  • Understanding which pages are used (visit statistics): our legitimate interest in improving the site. No cookies are used for this.
  • Showing the ads that fund the site (advertising data): your consent where the law requires it, including in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland. Elsewhere, our legitimate interest in funding a free website, subject to the opt-outs in section 5.
  • Replying to you (emails): our legitimate interest in answering messages.

We do not use personal data to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Advertising and Cookies

Quiet Five is free because it shows ads. Ads are served by Google AdSense, including Google's ads for web games on our game pages.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
  • You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in the UK and Europe, youronlinechoices.com.
  • Google explains how it uses data from sites like this one in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Non-personalized ads are based on context, such as the page you are viewing and your general location, rather than your past browsing. Even non-personalized ads may use cookies to limit how often an ad is shown, to produce aggregated reports and to prevent fraud.

In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, a consent message from Google asks for your choices before advertising cookies are used. Google's consent tool is registered with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, and the message lists the advertising partners involved. Your choices are stored in a cookie so that we do not ask again on every visit.

Quiet Five itself does not set tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage only for the settings and progress described in section 2.2.

5. Your Choices

  • UK, EEA and Switzerland: you can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the "Privacy and cookie settings" link that Google shows at the bottom of every page.
  • US states with privacy laws, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut and Virginia: you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising with the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link that Google displays on our pages where these laws apply. You can also email us.
  • Everywhere: you can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings, block or delete cookies in your browser, or use the opt-out pages listed in section 4.

Browsers' "Do Not Track" signals have no common standard, so the site does not respond to them. The choices above work regardless.

6. Who Receives Personal Data

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security and visit statistics, acting on our behalf.
  • Google and the advertising partners named in the consent message: advertising. Google acts as an independent controller of the data it collects.
  • Namecheap, Inc.: hosting for our email, acting on our behalf.
  • Public authorities: where the law requires it, or where needed to protect our rights, our visitors or the public.

We do not sell personal data for money. Section 9 explains how some US state laws treat advertising cookies.

7. International Transfers

We are based in India, and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where UK or EU law applies, these transfers rely on safeguards that the law recognizes, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.

8. How Long We Keep Data

  • Emails: up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted, unless we need them longer to deal with a legal claim.
  • Technical data: kept by Cloudflare for short periods for delivery and security, under Cloudflare's own policies.
  • Visit statistics: kept only as totals.
  • Advertising data: kept by Google and its partners under their own policies.
  • Settings on your device: kept until you clear them.

9. Your Rights

UK, EEA and Switzerland

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use (including use based on our legitimate interests), to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office.

US state privacy rights

If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas or Oregon, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising;
  • appeal our decision on your request, by replying with "Appeal" in the subject line;
  • use an authorized agent to make a request for you; and
  • exercise these rights without being treated differently.

In the last 12 months, we have collected these categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers, such as IP addresses, cookie and device identifiers, and email addresses from people who write to us.
  • Internet activity, such as pages viewed and interactions with ads.
  • Approximate location, derived from IP addresses.
  • Inferences that advertising partners draw about likely interests.

We collect this information from you and your device, and we use it for the purposes in section 3. We disclose identifiers and internet activity to our service providers (Cloudflare and Namecheap) and to Google and its advertising partners. Allowing advertising partners to use cookies may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some state laws. We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

How to make a request

Email hello@quietfive.com. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. We reply within one month in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, and within 45 days in the US, or within any longer period the law allows. Because there are no accounts, the personal data we hold about you is usually limited to emails you have sent us. Google holds advertising data and offers its own controls in My Ad Center.

10. Children

Quiet Five is a general-audience website made for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, for example by email, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We keep the data we hold to a minimum and use providers with industry-standard security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If we make a significant change, we will say so on this page.

13. Contact

For any question or request about privacy, email hello@quietfive.com.
